TGE Marine Gas Engineering GmbH is proud to announce that HAPPY CONDOR, the second of a series of three 9000 cbm Ethylene Gas Carriers built at STX Shipbuilding Co. in Busan/ Korea has been taken into operation inJanuary 2008. TGE’s contractual obligations comprises the detail engineering, the design of the cargo handling system and cargo tanks, as well as the delivery of the gas handling equipment. During construction phase of the newbuilding, including pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance tests during gas trial at Daesan/ South Korea, all activities were supervised by TGE engineers. 

HAPPY CONDOR belongs to “Zealand Marine Pte Ltd., Singapore “– a company in the Othello Shipping Group- joining upon delivery of vessel the UNIGAS- Pool, which is the joint operating unit for Bernhard Schulte, Sloman Neptun and Othello. Her main trading area for the first period is expected to be mainly Far East. She is Othello’s 16th vessel in the fleet of units between 3500 – 20700 cbm.
