Products and Systems Gas Carriers Offshore Units Marine Engineering Offshore units for LPG and LNG TGE’s track record for conversion and new building projects includes the design and supply of cargo handling systems for LPG FSOs (floating storage and offloading unit). In order to meet customer needs in the offshore industry, TGE has designed and constructed reliquefaction and refrigeration systems for FSOs as skid-mounted modules, which comply with demanding offshore standards. The LNG industry is also currently seeing a strong tendency toward offshore installations for both liquefaction (FPSO = floating production, storage, and offloading units) and regasification (FSRU = floating storage and regasification units). TGE has developed cargo-handling systems for FPSOs and FSRUs and can offer complete systems based on its experience with LPG offshore projects and know-how from onshore LNG terminals within the TGE group.
