Strategy:

TGE is a leading provider of engineering services for the design and construction of gas carriers and offshore units. We provide a turnkey solution for the engineering design, procurement and construction supervision ("EPCS") of marine gas handling and storage systems as well as vessel designs. We are specialised in the containment and handling of cryogenically stored gases (often these are both highly toxic and flammable), and we have market leading position in the ethylene carrier segment.

The majority of our customers are commercial shipyards building gas carrier ships. To date we have supplied gas handling and storage systems for in excess of 100 gas carriers in more than 20 shipyards in Europe, Asia and South America. In particular, we have been active in China since 1989 and acted as the engineering provider to every Chinese built IGC compliant gas carrier delivered.

Our contracts have included the world's largest purpose built ethylene carrier and the world's largest LPG FSU. The Isabella Kosan, a ship designed by us, recently won the Lloyd's List Ship of the year award, which specifically recognised the environmental, operational and technical strenghts of the ship design.

- Combine technical excellence with cost leadership - We pursue dueal goals of technical excellence and execution efficiency, to ensure that we deliver maximum value to both shipyards and ship owners.

- Capture new opportunities in LNG - Through significant research and development expenditure we are evolving our core products to adress new markets (e.g. small LNG and CO carriers) and utilise new technologies.
