The Supervisory Board of TGE Marine Gas Engineering GmbH has received a notice of termination of the Service Contract from its CEO – Dr. Klaus-Dieter Gerdsmeyer – for personal reasons with immediate effect.
The board does regret that Dr. Gerdsmeyer is forced by health reasons to step down as leader of the management team.
Dr. Gerdsmeyer has worked very successfully with TGE Marine for 20 years in different positions and has been the Head of Sales & Business Development for more than 10 years. He has built up excellent relationships with all our business partners worldwide and contributed substantially to the success of TGE Marine in the new markets of small scale LNGcarriers, LNG fuel gas systems and small LNG FSRU’s.
The process of appointing a new CEO has been initiated and will include both internal and external candidates.
In the period up to the new CEO is onboarded the Supervisory Board has formally agreed with board member Dr. Manfred Küver to support the management team of CFO – Mr. Steffen Schober – and COO – Mr. Ulrich Menninghaus – as Special Advisor especially within sales activities, strategy and customer relationship.
We do wish Dr. Gerdsmeyer a good recovery, and that it will be possible to make use of his extensive market knowledge again.
