The 37,500-cbm Ethylene carrier `Navigator Eclipse` (built 2016) – one of four midsize carriers in the Navigator fleet with a cargo storage- and handling system plus an HP LNG fuel gas system designed and supplied by TGE Marine – has now achieved its second record.
After she and her sister vessels have been the largest ethylene ships ever build, she now has successfully loaded the largest ethylene parcel ever carried on a gas carrier. The loading of 20,000 tonnes (44 mio. pounds) of ethylene, which took place in June 2020, was executed in Texas.
