On July 5th 2021, two TGE Marine designed and supplied LNG cargo tanks were lifted on board the MV UHL Fortune in the port of Shanghai.
The two cylindrical IMO type C cargo tanks, each with a capacity of 2,000 m³, are insulated with a Polyurethane foam for a most efficient reduction of boil off gas (BOG) during operation. Meanwhile the tanks have arrived safely at their destination at Rosetti Marino Shipyard in Ravenna (Italy) and are currently installed on the non- propelled barge in the shipside support structures.
The LNG bunker barge was ordered by the Venice- based tug operator Rimorchiatori Riuniti Panfido (Italy) for bunker operations to be taken place in the lagoon of Venice.
Beside the two LNG tanks, TGE Marine has designed and supplied all components of the cargo handling system for the barge.
More news about this prestige project for the port of Venice to follow.
